We will pick you up early in the morning at the door of your accommodation, in a private 4×4 vehicle or VAN and then we will head to the atlas to see some of the most beautiful landscapes of this area of the country.
The village of Imlil is located about 60 km south of Marrakech, which is accessed by winding mountain roads that lead us to the high Atlas.
Imlil is a well known and frequented by hikers and climbers, as from here start the routes to the highest peak of Morocco and North Africa, called Toubkal, which is 4167 meters high.
We will reach the small village of Tahanaout. Here, twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday) the farmers of the region gather to organize a large souk, which keeps all its traditional essence: colors, smells, sounds, products, prices…
The Ghaghia Wadi Gorges is another common stop of the excursions from Marrakech to the Atlas and, in particular, of this route, which also reaches Asni: here you will find several settlements scattered around the area, from where the Toubkal rises imposing. It is also a town famous for being rich in amethyst. The southernmost point of this route is Ouirgane, nicknamed with the friendly nickname of the Happy Valley or the Green Valley, for the greater presence of vegetation in it, as well as cultivated land.
