Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Aït Ben Haddou – Dadès Gorges
Our adventure begins early in the morning, boarding at 7:30 a.m. at Café Argana, right in the heart of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. From there, we’ll depart at 7:40 a.m. for the Dadès Gorges.
The route takes us through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, passing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, 2,270 meters above sea level. Along the way, we’ll stop for photos and admire the breathtaking mountain scenery and the villages scattered along the slopes.
A cultural stop awaits us at a women’s argan oil cooperative, where we will learn about the extraction and traditional uses of this Moroccan treasure.
The next highlight is the iconic Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for films and series such asGladiator,Game of Thrones, andThe Jewel of the Nile. A local guide will accompany us on a 1.5-hour tour of this architectural gem.
In the afternoon, we will continue through Ouarzazate and head to our hotel in the Dadès Gorges or Tinghir region, depending on the size of the group.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Sahara Desert
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey towards the majestic Sahara Desert.
Our first stop is the Todra Valley and the famous Todra Gorges, a canyon with dramatic cliffs and palm groves, perfect for photos and a short hike. After a free lunch break, we hit the road again toward the golden dunes of Merzouga.
Before reaching the desert, we’ll visit a Berber family in the region. You’ll participate in a traditional henna tattoo session and try on traditional clothing for unique photos—an authentic cultural moment.
Upon reaching the desert, we’ll swap vans for camels for a scenic 1-hour dune ride. This slow-paced journey will give you a taste of nomadic life and provide unforgettable views of the shifting sands.
We’ll arrive at our private camp just before sunset. Dinner will be followed by traditional Berber music around the campfire under the stars.

Day 3: Sahara Desert – Draa Valley – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast at the camp, we’ll begin our long journey back to Marrakech. Along the way, we’ll pass through the Draa Valley, Erfoud, Ouarzazate, and once again cross the High Atlas Mountains.
There will be bathroom breaks every two hours, as well as a lunch break around 2:00 PM (depending on the group’s pace).
Arrival in Marrakech is expected around 7:30 or 8:00 pm.
